At this point, it’s pretty much a forgone conclusion that the next Microsoft gaming console is already in development, but new LinkedIn postings, as spotted by Internet super-slueth supererogatory point us in the direction of just who may be working on the project.

Jeff Faulkner, Xbox’s User Experience Creative Director now lists himself as “Xbox Next Gen Creative Director” on his profile while senior creative director Jonathan Harris says that he’s “designing the next generation of entertainment” at Microsoft.

Visual designer Patrick Corrigan lists a former job (listed as ending in June of this year) at the publisher as “providing groundwork and integration for branding elements for next-gen XBOX on all forms of media. Ranging from print to UI across future releases of the XBOX platform.”

Microsoft hasn’t returned our emails looking for comments about the listing, and don’t expect them to, they’re keeping the new console, and any information regarding its development under wraps for now.
