Phish is going home to Vermont, where the band formed, to rock out for the victims of Tropical Storm Irene with a special benefit concert, The Burlington Free Press reported.

Phish will play a concert on September 14 at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction.

It’s the band’s first Vermont show in seven years.

The band released the following statement: “Vermont experienced its worst flooding in a century, which devastated communities throughout the state.”
