Catherine Greig, girlfriend of mobster James “Whitey” Bulger,” was indicted in federal court yesterday, charged with conspiracy to harbor and conceal Bulger while he was a fugitive for sixteen years.

Greig allegedly helped conceal Bulger by obtaining multiple fake identification forms, lying to landlords and doctors, denying the government’s request to search her apartment, and other suspicious acts. She also conspired with Bulger and others against the United States government by harboring the fugitive.

If convicted, Greig faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
