A fire in a single family home left one dead in Hebron, N.H. early Friday morning, according to the Hebron Fire Department.

Officials say the cause of death was smoke inhalation, but are still withholding the identity of the victim.

The exact cause of the fire is still being investigated, but firefighters believe the fire originated in the living room porch near an air conditioning window unit. They are unsure if smoke detectors were present in the home, but none were located in the fire debris.
