Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to the big screen with his role in the upcoming film “The Last Stand” from Lionsgate.
Schwarzenegger will play the role of Sheriff Owens, a former member of the LAPD who now resides in Summerton Junction policing the few crimes that take place in the town near the border. When a wanted drug lord escapes from an FBI prisoner convoy and heads for Summerton Junction, Owens and his town force are charged with the task of intercepting him before he crosses the border.
Kim Jee-Woon (”A Tale of Two Cities”) will direct the film based on a script by Andrew Knauer and rewritten by Jeffrey Nachmanoff.
