And we all thought it was true love when Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony got married seven years ago. The twins, the movie, and a reality show they were working on together all gave the right indications.
But it was not to be. On Friday, the coupled announced they were not together anymore and were seeking a divorce.
“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision,” the couple said in a statement released by Lopez’s publicist. “We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”
The couple had married in 2004 after his divorce from Miss Universe Dayanara Torres and her well-publicized breakup with Ben Affleck.
