Boston.com reports a 58-year-old Norwood street sweeper driver was killed Monday after he became trapped in the machine.
The man, Patrick J. MacDonald of Penacook, N.H., was trying to repair the hopper part of the street sweeper when he became trapped and fatally injured.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating this as an industrial accident.
Norwood Police, State Police, and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office are also investigating.
