George Clooney broke up with his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis after a two-year relationship.
ABC News speculates that the beauty’s public desire for marriage may have doomed their love.
“After his four year long marriage to Talia Balsam, the Oscar-winning actor famously told ABC News’ Barbara Walters in 1995 that he’ll never marry again. He reiterated that sentiment in January of this year, telling CNN’s Piers Morgan ‘I was married, so I gave it a shot,'” ABC reported.
But the 32-year-old now ex-girlfriend told the Italian magazine Chi she was “a firm believer in marriage.”
Either way, both are single now.
