DALLAS — A 35-year-old city firefighter died Thursday morning after he was found unresponsive in the station.

Chris Pham, 35, was found in his bunk during the shift change at Fire Station 49. Fellow firefighters found him and performed CPR. He was taken to Methodist Charlton Medical Center where he later died.

No cause of death was released.

According to Dallas Fire-Rescue Chief Eddie Burns, Pham has been on the job since 2006.
