In a turn of events, a man who has been on the run since May 21, when he was suspected to have stabbed 32-year-old Carlos E. Beslanga in the chest, turned himself in to the Springfield police yesterday around 9 a.m.
Luis Manuel Cintron, 37, was arraigned yesterday, charged with Beslanga’s murder. He was ordered held without bail.
