NEW YORK — The premiere of “Water For Elephants” turned NYC into a Circus. Fans camped out in NYC for hours just to get a glimpse of Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon. Rob and Reese talked to us about the love they have for their fans as well as for their animal co-stars during the New York Premiere.

The film which hit theaters on April 22, is based on Sara Gruen’s novel of the same name and is directed by Francis Lawrence. The film tells the story of Jacob Jankowski (Robert Pattinson), a veterinary student, who abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet. While traveling with the circus, he falls for Marlena, (Reese Witherspoon) an equestrian star married to August (Christoph Waltz), the cruel head animal trainer. Jacob also meets Rosie, an untrainable elephant and the only hope for this third-rate traveling show. The film tells the tale of forbidden love, passion, tragedy, joy, betrayal and aging. Some critic have compared the feel of the film to 1997’s Titanic.
