A tractor trailer truck at Logan International Airport that was backing up next to a Jet Blue airliner to load cargo onto it accidentally struck the plane, State Police said.

The incident occurred at around 4:15 p.m., as the plane was being boarded by passengers.

A 90-year-old Falmouth woman was knocked out of her wheelchair and hurt her leg, State Police said. She was treated at Massachusetts General Hospital.

The other passengers were switched to a different airplane, which took off safely.

Passenger airliners routinely transmit cargo.
