According to FOX, an alleged stalker was arrested for breaking into Madonna’s home while the singer and her children were in Michigan at her grandmother’s funeral over the weekend.

The intruder, Grzegorz Matlok, 29, who is a Polish citizen, was arrested and charged with burglary. He is believed to have stalked Madonna before, and was discovered by Madonna’s security team and wrestled to the ground after the incident.

When the hearing was held on Monday, prosecutor Punal Chopra reported, “He entered bedrooms and bedclothes have been disturbed, particularly the bed belonging to the artist. He explained to police he had traveled from Poland with the specific intention of meeting the artist known as Madonna who he believes he is in an intimate relationship with.”

For now, Matlok remains in custody and will be undergoing psychiatric evaluation.
