More and more of Sony’s big franchises have been adapting the company’s motion device, The Move, but perhaps its biggest won’t be.

In the latest issue of Edge Magazine, Christophe Balestra, Co-President at Naughty Dog confirms that the long awaited sequel will not use the peripheral. ” A Great Move game is a game made around Move and we started Uncharted long before that. It would be very difficult for us to adjust it. We tried a couple of things but it wasn’t making a lot of sense.”

While the Move has been ruled out, expect the Uncharted 3 to support the company’s other big initiative, full 3D gaming when it’s released November 1 of this year.
