Larry King, 77, finished up his CNN talk show “Larry King Live” after 25 years Thursday.

King has conducted about 50,000 interviews during his broadcasting career. Since joining CNN in 1985, he has recorded more than 6,000 shows.

No “return” has been anticipated or reported. It appears King is retiring for real.

According to CNN, King commented, “Six o’clock tonight will go on to 7 o’clock, with or without me. Some news will break, and I won’t be there to cover it. I’m going to miss it.”
