Taylor Swift has been sold 1,047,000 copies of her latest album “Speak Now” in just seven days. Swift becomes the first artist to sell a million that fast since Lil Wayne’s 2008 album “Tha Carter III.”
Swift told the Wall Street Journal right before the album’s release, “People want to feel like they have a soundtrack to their lives. You want to feel like what you’re feeling, you’re not alone in feeling.”
Swift tweeted Wednesday morning, “I… Can’t… Believe… This… You guys have absolutely lit up my world. Thank you.”
