Halo Reach has been on store shelves for just over a month — but the game’s diehard community has spent the equivalent of 16,455 years playing Bungie’s final Halo game. I’m going to let that sink in. over 16,000 years…in a month.

The numbers come from Bungie’s latest weekly update, which also shares a few other terrifying stats:

-784 million player-games have been played (each game is counted once per player)
-544 billion in-game credits have been earned
-about 4 million screenshots have been uploaded
-almost 6 million total files have been uploaded

Blast reviewed Halo Reach last month, gave it an A+ and a an Editor’s Choice award.
