Remember at E3 when Sony announced that Gran Turismo 5 would be hitting shelves in November? Did you really think it would happen?
Over at the Official PlayStation Blog, series producer Taku Imasaki has confirmed that the game will not be ready for its scheduled release. While no firm release date has been named, the producer did add that it will see release this Holiday season.
“We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches,” Imasaki added.
The much anticipated racing game has been the series of many delays, starting in March 2010.
