Newcomer and youngster Mackenzie Foy has been cast as Renesmee, the daugher of Edward and Bella, in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.”
According to the studio, “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer sent the announcement as part of a special note to fans of the vampire saga thanking them for helping the series’s official Facebook fan page reach 15 million fans.
The announcement comes on the heals of the casting of the Denali Coven actors, allies to the Cullens in the books/films. Christian Camargo, Mia Maestro, Casey LaBow and MyAnna Buring were announced late last week, days after Maggie Grace, who was announced last Tuesday, was announced as the vampire Irina.
