A Lynn firefighter was seriously injured battling a 3-alarm house fire.
The fire gutted two floors of a house on Hamilton Avenue on Friday afternoon. The fire began small and grew quickly.
The fire was knocked down within an hour.
Officials did not release the firefighter’s name or elaborate on his injuries. He was listed in serious condition at Massachusetts General Hospital.
