If you play Halo, or are at least vaguely familiar with the series, you’re likely aware of the wonderful job Marty O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori do with the games’ respective soundtracks.

Well, and this should come as no surprise, it sounds as if the soundtrack to Halo: Reach will blow you away just like the others.

Mr. O'Donnell

Marcus Lehto, Creative Director on the Halo: Reach project, recently updated the Noble Actual development blog, speaking about the game’s music.

“Marty pulled me into his studio today to have me listen to some early rough music themes that he’s developing. WOW! What a treat that was. The music for Reach is really going move you guys when you hear it. Marty usually holds his music tight to the chest until later in a project, but I somehow convinced him that I should be able to listen to early compositions and provide feedback before it was too late. Sweet – progress,” he wrote.

I guess we’ll all find out if these words hold any weight when we hear and see more of Halo: Reach, especially its campaign, hopefully at E3 next month.
