Capcom today launched a multiplayer demo for the upcoming third-person shooter, Lost Planet 2, on Xbox Live.

It’s exclusive to Xbox Live for just a day, as it arrives on the PlayStation Network tomorrow.

The demo, which clocks in at an easy 537 MB, is set on the Turbulent Jungle Map, which Capcom says is one of ten multiplayer environments on the full retail disc’.

But what’s probably best about all this is that, as part of the "Kill Big for Charity" program, if the demo is downloaded at least one million times, across PS3 and Xbox 360 before May 5, Capcom will donate $20,000 to Music For Relief, a non-profit organization dedicated to disaster relief and disaster risk mitigation.

Well, now. How can I not download it?

Start your download, via the Xbox Live Web Marketplace, here.

Lost Planet 2 comes to Xbox 360 and PS3 May 11.
