Electronic Arts, publisher of such mega franchises as “Medal of Honor,” The Sims,” “Rock Band,” “Left 4 Dead” and many more, recently joined the rich guys club known as the Fortune 500.

CNN reports that the mega publisher saw its revenue rise 15 percent last year, good for spot number 494 on the esteemed list.

Microsoft is also on the list at number 36, but we hear they do other things than make video games.

If defected Activision Infinity Ward developers Jason West and Vince Zampella and their new studio Respawn Entertainment, part of Electronic Arts, see success with whatever they’re working on, EA could very well climb that ladder.
