Apple’s highly popular App Store, now allows its users to gift and receive purchases of games and apps.
The process is simple; click on whatever goodie you’d like and use the drop-down to get to ‘gift.’ From here you enter the recipient’s e-mail and can even add a personal message too. And of course, you still have to pay for it.

I can’t vouch for how the process works on the iPhone or iPod Touch, but in the iTunes store it couldn’t be easier.
