Electronic Arts today detailed downloadable content for the co-op third-person-shooter “Army of Two: The 40th Day.” It’s called “Chapters of Deceit” and, from its vague description, doesn’t yet sound too compelling.
From the mouth of EA: “In the new chapters, players stumble upon information that could lead to ending the invasion by Jonah and his 40th Day Initiative army. However, they quickly learn that everyone is out for themselves and to trust no one but their partner.”
The downloadable content is for the game’s campaign, not its multiplayer and will set you back $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points when it releases April 1. I’d like this to be an April Fools joke, as the game was way too short and offering this DLC begs the question “why didn’t you put it on the disc to begin with?”
But hey, at least the screenshots look nice. Enjoy the “Chapters of Deceit” gallery below.
