Microsoft held an invite-only gaming press event in Washington State today and it was absolutely packed with hard-hitting news.

Here’s a breakdown of everything important.

Halo: Reach‘s multiplayer beta will launch May 3, 2010 for those with a copy of Halo 3: ODST.

Dead Rising 2 will release August 31.

Alan Wake will hit shelves May 18 and those who pre-order the title will receive the “Bright Falls Bonus Pack, which includes exclusive content like Avatar gear, an Xbox LIVE theme, and a "making of" video.”

Final Fantasy XIII is getting an Xbox 360-themed bundle. It will include a 250GB hard drive, a standard edition copy of the game, exclusive downloadable content and two wireless controllers. It’ll go on sale for $399 March 9, when the game releases.

Microsoft’s Game Room, as well as Perfect Dark XBLA will arrive this March.

Lost Planet 2 will arrive May 18.

And Fable III will release, as we already knew, sometime this Holiday season. More to come about the third Fable installment. Check back!
