This morning at Ubisoft’s third quarter financial briefing, chairman and CEO Yves Guillemot announced Ghost Recon: Future Soldier would be shipping for all consoles…including the Wii.
During the publisher’s investor call, later in the day, Guillemot said the Wii version was under development by a different studio than the PS3 and Xbox 360 game and would focus on appealing to the Wii audience.
“It will be on all platforms, including the Wii, but it’s not going to be exactly the same product, he said. “It’s done by a different team, so it’s a different approach, and will be created for the Wii population.”
What we do not know at the moment is whether or not the Wii version will feature a completely unique tale and motion-tracking aiming system, though we can pretty much bet on the latter.
