New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the exciting Wii title that released in November, recently sold its 10 millionth copy.

The data comes from NIKKEI and, after a quick hop on Wikipedia, I’ve learned 10 million copies of NSMB is a large enough statistic to put one copy in the hand of every person in Belgium!

So many copies!

The game has been out for 8 weeks, and in that time, according to NIKKEI, has sold 3 million units in Japan, more than 4.5 in North America and another 3 million in the European market.

We totally and completely loved the title and if you haven’t immersed yourself in the new world of Mario, take a look at our review, maybe we can convince you to play it!
