Electronic Arts, makers of games we know and love, and stashers of millions and millions in a vault somewhere, are spending some of that cash this year to take out a 30-second Superbowl advertisement.

The statement made no mention of which game EA plans to show during the 30-seconds, but it could be Dante’s Inferno or, possibly Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Because after all, EA is gunning for Activision’s Modern Warfare market-share, and what better stage to show off on than the Superbowl?

The going rate for a 30-second spot this year is between 2.5 and 2.8 million, so EA, better choose wisely!

Also, if you’re curious, here’s a list of every company that purchased Superbowl air-time this year, and what they’re showing (if disclosed yet).
