Brittany Murphy dead at 32

Actress Brittany Murphy, 32, died of a heart attack this morning in Los Angeles, reports TMZ.

Authorities received a 911 call at 8 a.m. from the home of Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack. She had gone into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived. Murphy was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

She was pronounced dead on arrival, according to TMZ.

Murphy was best known for her roles in “Clueless” and “8 Mile.”
