Nero, the PC software legend, today announced and released Music2Go, a tool used to facilitate the transfer of music to Nintendo’s latest portable device, the DSi.

With the new application, users can quickly and easily transfer songs from their PC to the portable gaming machine.

Basically, all you do is insert a CD and SD card  into your computer, rip it to the hard drive, and let the magic of the Music2Go tool do the rest.

The software costs $5.99, is available today, and runs only on PC.

I don’t have a DSi, but I was interested to learn it could be used as a media device, but I’ve heard the UI is pretty finicky. I’ll stick with my iPod Touch.
