Uncharted 2: Among Thieves just got bigger, better, and more multiplayer enhanced.

Developer Naughty Dog, who crafted one of the best reviewed games ever, added an additional multiplayer environment to the fray and built in some new stat-tracking elements, to keep gamers enthused in the action/adventure title.

The new map is called “The Fort,” and as Naughty Dog put it, it’s a throwback map, designed from an environment from the original game.

The map looks and sounds to be loads of fun as it’s a long rectangular map with wide open spaces and excellent flank routes, with a shotgun located in the center and RPGs along the outside.

What’s more, if you’re into showboating and stat-tracking, Naughty Dog added leaderboards to the multiplayer menu.

Now your precious kill/death ratio will be tracked, as well as the number of wins, losses, level, competitive wins, money, and co-op points.

Happy hunting folks, and here’s a detailed video showing off the new locale.
