Harmonix today announced next week’s Rock Band downloadable content, set to include live tracks from Tom Petty, and singles from the Go Go’s, P!nk, and the American Idol herself, Kelly Clarkson.

Clarkson’s “Miss Independent” marks her first tune in any music-game, and though it’s not the “Since U Been Gone” I’ve been dying to play for years now, it’ll do just fine.

But for those who don’t see the world through the eyes of a 12 year-old girl, Tom Petty and his six live tracks, basically his greatest hits, are yours to enjoy next week as well.

Here’s the full list and dates of availability.

Available on Xbox 360 and Wii (Nov. 24) and PlayStation 3 system (Nov. 26):

  • Go-Go’s — "Our Lips Are Sealed" +
  • Kelly Clarkson — "Miss Independent" +
  • P!nk — "Who Knew" +
  • Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers — "A Thing About You (live)" +
  • Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers — "American Girl (live)"
  • Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers — "Even the Losers (live)"
  • Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers — "Here Comes My Girl (live)" +
  • Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers — "Mary Jane’s Last Dance (live)"
  • Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers — "Refugee (live)" +

+ these ones are also available in the family-friendly LEGO: Rock Band store. “Mary Jane’s Last Dance”? What’s wrong with that one? Oh, I see.

The Tom Petty six-pack will also be available as a bundle by the name of "Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Live Anthology Pack 01″ for $9.99/800 MS Points.
