Microsoft’s response to the Nintendo Wii motion-control movement, “Project Natal,” a technology the company debuted at E3 2009 in June, recently was named one of the top 50 “Best Innovations of 2009” from Time Magazine.

What makes Time Magazine a credible source for this kind of nomination? We’re not entirely sure. I mean, Game Informer has a higher paid circulation than Time, if that means anything either.

However you slice it, we’re pretty excited about Natal, especially with the juicy details leaked yesterday.
