John Allen Muhammad, the sniper who led a wave of terror in the Washington D.C. area for three weeks in October 2002, was executed Tuesday night in a Virginia prison, the Associated Press reported.

Muhammad and his teenage accomplice shot people, leaving a trail of 10 dead, as they purchased gasoline, went shopping, and mowed their lawns.

The AP said Muhammad gave no final statement before his lethal injection at a symbolic 9:11 p.m. at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt, Va.

We only have one life to live. Let’s not waste it by making bad decisions. We were given a free-will to choose life or death. Let us make it a point to always choose life. No matter how hard life is sometimes, it’s always good to be alive!
