If you’re like me, school pride is huge. So important that displaying my colors are deeply rooted in what it means to attend school X.
Well, that just got easier today, as University-themed attire came to the Avatar Marketplace on Xbox Live.
Thirty of the nation’s top universities went digital and lent a collection of hats, shirts, hoodies, shoes, jackets, and wrist bands featuring the logos, to the download space, for your enjoyment.
But it hasn’t been all smooth-sailing for the Collegiate Licensing Company, the group that caved and decided to allow these wares to come digitally to enthusiasts.
“Universities have been cautious with regards to the digital personalization space, but we have been impressed with the creativity and capabilities of Disruptive Publishers,” said David Kirkpatrick, Vice President of Non-Apparel Marketing, The Collegiate Licensing Company. “We are excited about Disruptive Publishers’ depth of licensed offerings as well as their plans for collegiate expansion.”
