This week’s Wii Ware releases are geared toward saving civilizations from Evil. A cool‚ theme, so here’s the break down.
LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias, the sequel to LostWinds is now available on WiiWare! As an evil adversary binds the fate of Toku’s mother and the ancient Melodia civilization, it’s up to Toku and Enril to fight off their enemies, make new alliances and save the world as they know it!
Shootanto: Evolutionary Maybe is another game where you fight for the future of the world and upgrade as you go through each level. Co-op Two player will make this game memorable, so check it out!
How would I summon this week’s DSiWare release? One word: Domo.
Five interestingly interrelated games have been released: Crash-Course Domo, Hard-Hat Domo, Pro-Putt Domo, Rock-n-Roll Domo, and White-Water Domo.
Follow Domo as he goes around on mischievous adventures!
Each game has a different objective:
Crash-Course: Help Domo win six bicycle races to get the gold!
Hard-Hat: Help Domo get to the top of a building by matching ladders to floors. Sounds boring, but has promise!
Pro-Putt: Domo plays golf too! Guide him through the nine-hole Small Classic or the 18-hole Big Open tournament.
Rock-n-Roll: Help Domo become a rock star! Following the Guitar Hero/Rock Band crazy, here’s an alternative!
White-Water: Domo is kayaking the river rapids, so steer him to the finish line asap!
Hopefully the Domo games will be interesting enough to inspire some people to check them out!
Virtual Console only has one release this week: RYGAR
The Beast Lord has returned and the world is danger. To save the human race, Rygar has been brought back to life. Guide him in this arcade side-scroller
