The days are getting shorter, the leaves are changing, the air is crisp and cool and that can only mean one thing; Halloween is mere weeks away.
Three weeks to the day to be exact, but KingsIsle and their free-to-play MMO “Wizard 101” are ready today and announced that for the entire month of October those venturing to the lands of Wizard 101 can enjoy a festive showing.
Three staples of the Halloween season, Jack-O-Lanterns, Goblins, and Scarecrows have crept into the world and should get you more than ready to eat way too much candy corn come the 31st.
Additionally, the game was recently updated with the following changes:
‚· New Crowns Shop: Players will now be able to access the Crowns Shop, which allows players to buy mounts, complete outfits and disguises
‚· Henchman: For the ultra competitor, players will have the option of enlisting combat help from the Henchman whenever they need some extra assistance
‚· Elixirs: Players can now buy and gift elixirs, which provide benefits such extra mana, experience points, gold and health for a specific period of time
‚· Seamstresses: Fashionable players who want to create their own attire can visit a seamstress, who will improve outfits in exchange for crowns
‚· Gifting option: Finally, for the more generous Wizards, this update gives an option of gifting items to the people on their friends’ list
