One of MLB’s most consistent players, Ichiro Suzuki, the outfielder from Seattle, recently eclipsed 200 hits in the 2009 season, but if that’s not enough, he also plays a hell of a lot of Dragon Quest.
In a recent interview Ichiro stated “Oh, I’ve been indebted to Dragon Quest “" especially when I got injured. That was true as well when I played in Japan. The last time I got hurt in Japan, that’s all I did, play Dragon Quest.”
Wonder if Ichiro’s heard of Dragon Quest Wars on DSiWare? We loved it, so he probably would to. That said, maybe Square Enix gave him an early copy, either way, check out this Youtube interview for more.
