On October 28, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the seminal British game Elite, GameCity will launch a unique event exploring the impact and legacy of the game with a series of events which will impress anyone who is a fan of videogames and their history.
Lord David Putnam, film producer and politician, will introduce the event by discussing the impact Elite has had on video games and British culture. For those of you don’t remember, Elite is one of the best space trading computer games EVER. It was a genre defining game, and definitely a highly entertaining game. GameCity Squared is reuniting the development team for the event and are sure to have a good line of events for fans. If you’re around check it out!
