Conan O’Brien took a spill and wound up with a concussion during a stunt for the Tonight Show,‚ his guest star Teri Hatcher and NBC said.
Apparently, Hatcher recently competed in a triathlon and the gag was meant to mock her.
“We did this bit and at the very end, when we ran in to cross the finish line, he slipped as he was crossing the finish line and hit his head,” she said.
For Conan, who’s a lanky 6’4″, that’s a very long fall. But the New York Daily News said he was doing well at the hospital.
“Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice,” O’Brien said.
Hopefully, the comedic genius part of his brain was unharmed.
