Since PAX 2009 is over, Funcom is allowing us to reveal new details about their new game The Secret World. They’ve released the first official screenshots of the real-world MMO on their website, including a list of features which give an overview of the game. Their Initiation Test has been a hit since over 50,000 gamers have gone to the site to find out whether they belong to the Illuminati, the Dragon or the Templars (the three main secret societies in the game). While the Illuminati is clearly the coolest group by far (guess what my initiation result was), membership to any of the groups provides exclusive rewards such as an initiate kit, development updates and a chance to gain access to the upcoming beta test of the game.For those of you who don’t know, the game focuses on players in a modern-day setting traveling real-world locations to stop the forces of darkness along with players from around the globe.
