Mad Men gets renewed for season 4

In the last surprising piece of entertainment news this week, AMC announced it would be renewing its award-winning “Mad Men” for a fourth season.

“Mad Men” is the most popular programming in the history of the AMC network.

AMC said that Matthew Weiner, the show’s creator, will be back in season four. AMC had him in constrictive contract negotiations that nearly made the genius behind the show take off last season.
