Rockstar Games today revealed that the wonderfully violent GTA: Chinatown Wars, currently available solely on Nintendo’s DS, will soon become available for iPhone and iPod Touch users this fall for an unnamed price.
“Chinatown Wars is a perfect match for the iPhone and iPod touch,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We are very excited to bring this incredibly ambitious version of Liberty City, with this level of detail and immersive gameplay on Apple’s new gaming platforms.”
It’s no secret that Chinatown Wars saw lackluster sales on the DS despite STELLAR reviews, but this announcement coupled with the previous one, which dated Chinatown Wars for PSP, will bring the game to a total of 3 portable entertainment fronts, thus tripling the chance of monetary success…right?
