This summer, all before August 19 actually, the Xbox Live Arcade has been/will be updated with five sizzling hot titles, and, if you’re an avid XBLA’er and gotta catch (purchase) ’em all, Microsoft has a rebate check for you!
The games in question? “Splosion Man” (July 22, 800 MS Points), “Marvel Vs. Capcom 2” (July 29, 1200 MS Points), “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled” (August 5, 800 MS Points), “Trials HD” (August 12, 800 MS Points), and finally, a product of Gears creator Epic, “Shadow Complex” (August 19, 1200 MS Points).

Add them up and what do you get? 5200 MS Points or $64.97. But with Microsoft’s rebate, you’ll gratuitously earn another 800 MS Points, but, since you can’t redeem them for cash, you have saved in theory, but can’t spend those 800 Points on real world items, like 10 $1 slushies from 7/11.
That said, they all look to be quality titles, and if you do pick them all up, those 800 Points are enough for some Rock Band tunes, or anything else on the marketplace. Woo hoo. But hurry, the promotion ends August 31!
