Mega-publisher Electronic Arts and Dr. Pepper soda today inked a deal that will bring exclusive unlock codes to you via the tasty high fructose corn syrup we all love to love.

What is being called a “multi-million dollar marketing campaign” will award Dr. Pepper drinkers unlock codes for in-game content in EA’s massive library of titles beginning with the stupidly popular The Sims 3.

Beginning in 2010 and running for who knows how long, over 500 million Dr Pepper products will contain the aforesaid code, and if you don’t like Dr. Pepper, please, please, please, send me your bottles. I love the stuff.
