Hoping to generate hype for the eagerly awaited May Payne 3, Rockstar Games unleashed Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne onto Xbox Live today as full-game Xbox Originals.

Each title is priced at the somewhat affordable 1200 MS Points ($15), but you’ll have to ultimately decide if the 2GB download is worth it or not.

If the feature film left a bad taste in your mouth (yes, even the beautiful Mila Kunis could not help), and you prefer digital to physical disc, try out these titles and either relive the glory of days past, or jump into the famed series for the first time.

Rockstar is currently working on Max Payne 3, the first offering on next-gen consoles, with a winter 2009 release date.

Xbox 360 owners start your downloads via the Xbox Live Web Marketplace by following the links below.
