Electronic Arts announced today that not one, but three stars of the tennis world will adorn the cover of Grand Slam Tennis when it ships this June exclusively on the Nintendo Wii.

John McEnroe, the feisty lefty previously announced as an exclusive to the title sits between the graceful yet powerful Roger Federer and the heavy hitting twin sister Serena Williams.

“It’s very exciting to be on the cover of EA SPORTS Grand Slam Tennis. This game not only shows EA’s enthusiasm for tennis but for also women’s tennis,” said Williams. “I know from experience how tough and gratifying it is to win all four Grand Slams so I hope people will enjoy the Grand Slam experience that is offered in this game.”

The motion controls of the Wii resonate the strongest arguably in tennis titles as Wii Sports continues to show us.‚  Furthermore, Grand Slam Tennis was built from the ground up specifically for the Wii and is not simply a poorly executed port.

Grand Slam Tennis on the Wii will ship to retailers June 15th with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 counterparts arriving at an undisclosed date in the fall.
