The family of a Connecticut woman disfigured by a 200-pound chimpanzee that went on a rampage in February is seeking $50 million against the chimp’s owner, according to WTNH-TV, New Haven.

The lawsuit, filed Monday in Stamford Superior Court seeks damages from Sandra Herold by the relatives of Charla Nash. The suit also asks for an accounting of Herold’s assets.

Nash, 55, is under treatment at the Cleveland Clinic where doctors say she lost her hands, nose, lips, eyelids, may be blind, and is suffering brain damage from the Feb. 16 attack.

As you may remember, the chump was eventually shot and killed by police.
