The first downloadable content for Call of Duty: World at War will be available to download March 19th for Xbox 360 and PS3 Treyarch announced today, while PC gamers are told to “stay tuned.”

In addition to the three glorious new maps, examined at great length over at GameTrailers in case you missed it, Map Pack 1 will feature an additional fan favorite Nazi zombie bonus map Verruckt (Zombie Asylum), sure to incite four player co-op mayhem. ‚ Killing Nazis is fun, but killing Nazi zombies, well come on, it’s too damn alluring to pass up.

And if you’ve been on the fence about World at War, an Xbox 360 exclusive co-op enabled demo of “Hard Landing” from the single player campaign was released today on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Sure is a great time to be a Call of Duty fan, with Modern Warfare 2 releasing this holiday season and new DLC next week for World at War, I feel all peachy inside.

Head on over to our original article to read more about the maps.

Xbox 360 owners can start their demo download here.
